What the BBVA template recognizes
The parser identifies debit and credit columns, preserves descriptions continued on another line, and checks the running balance after every transaction.

Format validation:
8-page business statement: no balance mismatches; declared totals matched to the cent.

Accounting XLSX: separate debit and credit columns and per-statement review sheets. Standard CSV: signed amounts. Available checks and totals depend on the stated format; balances from different accounts are never summed.
